Inspired by the cold winter months on the West Coast of Scotland. Matured in Ex-Islay peated casks, this release highlights the smoky and coastal influence these casks bring to Lochlea’s signature spirit.
Summary
Ploughing Edition (Third Crop) is the fourth in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of our Seasonal trilogy. We have matured our signature Lochlea spirit in Ex-Islay Barrels, and the liquid is one year older than the 2023 Edition. The powerful peated casks and extra ageing combine to produce our smokiest whisky released to date!
