Cask Strength Batch One marks the inaugural release in Lochlea’s annual series of limited-edition cask strength whiskies. Bottled at 60.1% ABV, the whisky is presented exactly as it comes from the cask, allowing the full intensity and character of Lochlea’s spirit to shine.
Carefully selected by the production team, this expression has been matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry casks. These casks work particularly well at higher strengths, amplifying the fruit, nut and cereal flavours that define Lochlea’s house style.
