We are delighted to share that Lochlea has been awarded Best Independent Family‑Owned Whisky Distillery – Scotland 2025 at the SME Business Elite Awards.

This new annual limited release from Lochlea is finished in carefully selected Grenache wine casks, following initial maturation in first-fill Bourbon barrels. The result is a bright, fruit-forward whisky bursting with summer berries, strawberry shortcake, and sweet vanilla, finishing with spiced biscuits and rich oak. This first edition sets the tone for a vibrant and evolving series of red wine cask finishes.
